Ethan Chidiebere Nwaneri

Ethan Chidiebere Nwaneri is an English attacking midfielder who prefers his left foot. Born in London in 2007, he joined Arsenal’s academy in 2015 at the age of eight and progressed rapidly through Hale End. Nwaneri made his Arsenal Under-18 debut at 14, scoring against Reading, before appearing for the Under-21 side in August 2022. On 18 September that year, he became the youngest player to appear in the Premier League when he came on against Brentford aged 15 years and 181 days. He has represented England at under-16, under-17 and under-21 level, continuing his international development with the England Under-21s. Used centrally and on the right, Nwaneri combines close control with incisive movement and confident ball striking. His first senior start for Arsenal brought two goals against Bolton Wanderers, underlining his progress from academy prospect to first-team contributor.
