Eetu Mömmö

Eetu Mömmö is a Finnish forward who developed at Ilves Tampere before breaking through in the Veikkausliiga. At Ilves, he was primarily used as an attacking left winger, stretching defences, delivering crosses and contributing to attacks from the flank. On 19 August 2021, Mömmö signed for Italian club Lecce and initially joined its Under-19 Primavera side. In 2023, he moved to Icelandic club FH Hafnarfjörður on loan, gaining minutes in a physically demanding league. Mömmö returned to Finland on loan with SJK in February 2024 and later continued with the Seinäjoki club. At SJK, he has also been used on the left as a midfielder or attacking full-back, reflecting his expanding defensive responsibilities. Mömmö’s current profile combines wide attacking instincts with ball progression, chance creation and greater defensive involvement.
