Elydjah Mendy
Elydjah Mendy is a French defender from Mont-Saint-Aignan, born on 14 March 2000. Standing 1.93 metres, he developed in Pau’s youth system and trained with the first team during the 2020–21 pre-season. He then continued with Pau’s reserve side in Régional 1 before moving to Libourne in 2021. Across three seasons at Libourne, Mendy established himself in senior football and helped the club win promotion to Championnat National 2 in 2023. His progress led to Dijon in 2024, where he competed in the Championnat National and scored twice during the 2024–25 campaign. On 27 August 2025, Mendy signed for Nancy on a three-year contract, returning to the professional ranks in Ligue 2. As a tall defender, Elydjah Mendy offers a strong aerial presence and can operate at centre-back or left-back, while contributing to build-up play.
