Ethan McGee

Ethan McGee is a Northern Irish defender who developed through the Dungannon Swifts system. He progressed through Dungannon United Youth and the club’s under-18 and under-20 levels before making his senior debut against Glenavon on 23 February 2021. McGee became a regular for Dungannon and was appointed vice-captain by the age of 20. During his Swifts spell, he made 128 appearances and scored seven goals, including one in the 2022–23 promotion/relegation play-off against Annagh United. In January 2024, Linfield signed McGee for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half-year contract, and he debuted as a substitute in a victory over Loughgall. He scored for Linfield in the 2023–24 Irish Cup final against Cliftonville, although his side lost. Primarily a right-back, McGee has also been used in central midfield and on the right wing, while representing Northern Ireland at under-21 level.
