Evan Michael Louro

Evan Michael Louro is an American goalkeeper born in South River, USA, on 19 January 1996. He developed in the New York Red Bulls Academy, joining the programme in 2008 and helping its under-16 side win the 2012 U.S. Soccer Development Academy national championship. Louro then played college soccer for the University of Michigan from 2014 to 2016, making 46 appearances and recording 155 saves. In 2016, he produced a career-high 11 saves against Maryland in a double-overtime match. He returned to the Red Bulls in January 2017 as the club’s second Homegrown goalkeeper and primarily played for New York Red Bulls II. Louro later joined the Tampa Bay Rowdies, where his 2021 campaign included an 891-minute shutout streak, 14 clean sheets, and USL Championship Goalkeeper of the Year honors. Since joining FC Cincinnati in August 2022, Evan Louro has continued as a goalkeeper and experienced squad option.
