Ermal Krasniqi

Ermal Krasniqi is a Kosovo midfielder whose late development preceded a rapid rise through domestic and European football. He began structured training at 17, travelling from Tërpeza to Drenas for sessions with Feronikeli. After spells in Kosovo, Krasniqi joined Ballkani in 2019 and helped the club win its first national title, also scoring in the UEFA Conference League. In January 2023, he moved to CFR 1907 Cluj, where he made an immediate impact before losing prominence after a coaching change. Sparta Praha signed Krasniqi in June 2024, adding a physically powerful, mobile option capable of operating wide or in an attacking midfield role. He represented Kosovo at under-21 level before making his senior debut in 2022 and scoring his first competitive international goal against Lithuania in 2024.
