Emil Weihe Joensen

Emil Weihe Joensen is a midfielder for NSÍ Runavík in the Faroe Islands. He began his senior career with ÍF Fuglafjørður in 2021, recording 22 appearances and four goals. In 2022, he moved to Skála Ítróttarfelag, where he made 24 appearances and scored once. Joensen joined B36 Tórshavn in 2023, making 20 senior appearances while also featuring for the reserve side. At EB/Streymur in 2024, he established himself in midfield, playing 26 matches and scoring five goals. He moved to NSÍ Runavík in February 2025 and made 26 appearances in his debut season. Joensen has represented the Faroe Islands at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level, including European Championship qualifying.
