Edoardo Iannoni

Edoardo Iannoni is an Italian midfielder who developed in Serie D with Trastevere before moving into professional football. In June 2020, Salernitana signed him, and he made his Serie B debut in January 2021 as a late substitute against Empoli. Iannoni then gained experience on loan at Juve Stabia before joining Ancona-Matelica for the 2021–22 season, when he made 35 appearances and scored twice in Serie C. He moved to Perugia in 2022 and spent two seasons there, playing in both Serie B and Serie C while providing defensive cover in midfield. Perugia made his transfer permanent in June 2024, after which Iannoni joined Sassuolo in August. With Sassuolo, he helped win the 2024–25 Serie B title and subsequently moved into the club’s Serie A squad, where his ball-winning and box-to-box qualities continued to develop.
