Esin Hakaj

Esin Hakaj is an Albanian left-back born in Shkodër on 6 December 1996. He developed at Vllaznia Shkodër and reached the senior squad during the 2014–15 winter break, making his professional debut against Teuta Durrës on 31 January 2015. Hakaj moved to Partizani Tirana in 2016, returned there in 2019, and won the Albanian Supercup in the 2019–20 season. Between those spells, he played for Teuta Durrës before joining Samsunspor in Turkey in 2021 and returning to Vllaznia soon afterwards. He spent three seasons with Vllaznia from 2021 to 2024, then had a brief spell at AF Elbasani. Hakaj made his senior Albania debut in a 1–1 friendly draw with Saudi Arabia in October 2022 and also appeared against Qatar. Primarily a left-back, he has also been used at left midfield and centre-back, and is listed with Shkëndija Haraçinë.
