Evann Guessand operates as a right-sided inside forward, attacking space and running beyond the line for Aston Villa. Evann Guessand made his pro debut with Nice in 2020, enjoyed a breakout loan at Lausanne-Sport, and scored a European goal for Nantes in 2022. He thrives under Unai Emery's system. In 2024-25 he enjoyed a career-best Nice season with 12 goals and 7 assists, earning the Aiglon of the Season. In June 2024 he debuted for Côte d'Ivoire. Aug 2025 saw him move to Aston Villa for a reported €35 million. At Villa he pins centre-backs, checks short then spins in behind, and drives at defenders. Guessand creates separation for teammates and finishes moves with quick shots.
