Edin Džeko
Edin Džeko attacks space as a focal forward, checks runs beyond the line, and uses his aerial presence to threaten the back post. Edin Džeko joined FC Schalke 04 in the 2. Bundesliga after leaving Fiorentina. He remains Bosnia's all-time top scorer. Earlier, he helped VfL Wolfsburg win the Bundesliga in 2008-09 with regular finishing moves. A turning point came with Inter Milan, reaching the Champions League final in 2023. In Schalke, Džeko acts as a target man, linking play with one-touch layoffs and holding the ball under pressure. He pins centre-backs, presses high, and creates separation through smart runs. Džeko drives at defenses and gets shots off quickly.
