Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting
E. Choupo-Moting attacks space as a true center forward, holding up the ball with his back to goal while guiding teammates into the attack. He began his professional career in 2007 with Hamburger SV, rising from their academy to the first team. The turning point came when he helped Bayern Munich win major trophies between 2021 and 2023 and later featured in a global club success. In 2025, Choupo-Moting moved to New York Red Bulls and posted 17 goals in 33 games in his debut MLS season, while representing Cameroon in World Cups. As a target-9, he links play with one-touch layoffs and shields the ball to stabilize the final third. He presses high and uses his frame to win duels, feeding the attack from the top line. The on-pitch punchline is that Choupo-Moting stays the central focal point and finishes moves when the ball reaches the box.
