Elia Caprile

Elia Caprile is an Italian goalkeeper born in Verona on 25 August 2001. He developed at Chievo, reaching the first team in 2018 without making a senior appearance, before joining Leeds United in January 2020. At Leeds, Caprile mainly played for the under-23s and helped them win the Premier League 2 Division 2 title. He moved to Pro Patria on loan for 2021–22, making his professional debut, keeping 12 clean sheets and helping the club reach the play-offs. Bari signed him for 2022–23, when he established himself as a leading Serie B goalkeeper with 14 clean sheets. Napoli signed Caprile in July 2023 and loaned him to Empoli, followed by a January 2025 loan to Cagliari. He later joined Cagliari permanently and has also represented Italy at youth level.
