Ethan Andrew Bartlow

Ethan Andrew Bartlow is an American defender from Woodinville, Washington, who developed with Crossfire Premier before representing the United States at under-17 level. He continued his development at the University of Washington, starting 18 matches as a freshman in 2018 and helping the Huskies finish with five straight shutouts. In 2019, Bartlow became the first Washington player named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, while scoring five goals, including two against Marshall in the NCAA Tournament. Houston Dynamo selected him sixth overall in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft after he signed a Generation adidas contract. A preseason concussion and injuries delayed his debut until a 3–1 win over Inter Miami CF on April 2, 2022. Bartlow later became a rotational starter, making 70 appearances across competitions by the end of 2024. He was part of Houston’s 2023 U.S. Open Cup-winning squad and is listed with Tampa Bay Rowdies.
