Esmir Bajraktarević

Esmir Bajraktarević is an American-born midfielder from Appleton, Wisconsin, who developed through several Midwest academies. He began with SC Waukesha and SC Wave, then spent the 2019–20 season in the Chicago Fire academy. In August 2021, Bajraktarević joined the New England Revolution Academy and advanced through its under-17 side and Revolution II. He signed a Homegrown contract in May 2022 and made his first-team debut in a U.S. Open Cup match against New York City FC. During his Revolution career, he became a regular starter before moving to PSV Eindhoven in January 2025. Bajraktarević made his UEFA Champions League debut against Arsenal and won the Dutch league title during his first half-season in the Netherlands. After representing the United States at youth level and debuting for its senior team in January 2024, he switched to Bosnia and Herzegovina in July 2024.
