Ethane Azoulay
Ethane Azoulay is an Israeli midfielder born in Paris on 26 May 2002. He developed at Beitar Tubruk, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Netanya before joining Maccabi Petah Tikva, where he made his senior debut in June 2020. In August 2022, Azoulay returned to Maccabi Netanya and helped the club win the Toto Cup Ligat Al in the 2022–23 season. His performances earned a move to Maccabi Haifa in July 2024, linking him with one of Israel’s leading clubs. At Haifa, Azoulay operates mainly as a central midfielder, receiving possession under pressure and looking for vertical passes. He can also provide defensive cover while contributing to the tempo and progression of attacks. Internationally, he featured for Israel’s under-21 side at the 2023 European Championship, which reached the semi-finals, and later made his senior debut against France in October 2024.
