Emilio Audero Mulyadi

Emilio Audero Mulyadi is an Italian goalkeeper born in Mataram, Indonesia, on 18 January 1997. He moved to Italy as a child and joined the Juventus youth system at 11, developing in the club’s academy and training alongside Gianluigi Buffon. Audero represented Italy from under-15 through under-21 level before beginning his senior career with a loan to Venezia in 2017–18, where he helped the team reach the playoffs. In 2018, he moved to Sampdoria and spent five seasons there. At Sampdoria, he established himself as a Serie A goalkeeper and became club captain. His standout moment came in the 2022 Derby della Lanterna, when he saved Domenico Criscito’s stoppage-time penalty to preserve a 1–0 win over Genoa. Audero joined Inter on loan for 2023–24 as Yann Sommer’s deputy and was part of the squad that won the Scudetto. He subsequently joined Como, adding experience to an ambitious project.
