Ezgjan Alioski

Ezgjan Alioski is a North Macedonian left-back born in Prilep on 12 February 1992. He developed in Switzerland with BSC Young Boys, joining their academy in 2003 and progressing to the club’s under-23 side in 2010. Alioski moved to FC Lugano, where his attacking qualities developed further and he was used in advanced roles as well as at full-back. In 2017, he joined Leeds United and later became an energetic left-back under Marcelo Bielsa, providing overlapping runs, width and relentless recovery work. He left Leeds in 2021 for Al-Ahli, subsequently spending time on loan at Fenerbahçe, where he won the 2023 Turkish Cup. Internationally, Alioski has represented North Macedonia since his 2013 debut and helped the country qualify for UEFA Euro 2020, scoring against Ukraine at the tournament. He returned to FC Lugano in 2025, bringing experience of Swiss, English, Saudi and Turkish football.
