Donovan Stephane Makoma

Donovan Stephane Makoma is a French midfielder born in Lille on 1 February 1999. He developed in the RC Lens youth system and represented France at under-16 level. In July 2017, Makoma moved to Barrow, beginning his senior career in England. He joined Stevenage a year later and made his professional debut against Norwich City in the 2018 EFL Cup. During his Stevenage spell, he also spent time on loan with Woking, Biggleswade Town and Wingate & Finchley before leaving the club by mutual consent in 2019. Makoma subsequently returned to France with Arras, played for UE Santa Coloma in Andorra, and later joined Cosmos Koblenz and FC Karbach in Germany. He is currently listed with Azam, and his career has included defensive-midfield, central-midfield and other roles across several football systems.
