Domilson Cordeiro dos Santos

Domilson Cordeiro dos Santos, known as Dodô, is a Brazilian defender who operates primarily as a right-sided full-back. Born in Taubaté on 17 November 1998, he began playing at hometown club Taubaté before joining Coritiba’s academy in 2014. Coritiba moved him into defence, and he reached the first team in 2016, making his professional debut as a teenager. His pace and willingness to overlap helped establish him in Brazil and attract interest from Europe. Dodô joined Shakhtar Donetsk in 2017 and developed into an attack-minded wing-back, contributing to the club’s Champions League campaigns. In July 2022, he moved to Fiorentina, where he has continued to combine forward runs with defensive responsibilities in Serie A. Standing 166 centimetres tall, Dodô brings mobility, passing and positional versatility to Fiorentina’s defensive structure.
