Dinis da Costa Lima Almeida

Dinis da Costa Lima Almeida, commonly known as Dinis Almeida, is a Portuguese defender born in Esposende on 28 June 1995. Standing 1.90 metres tall, he developed in Portugal with FC Marinhas and Varzim before beginning his senior career at GD Joane in 2013–14. He then moved to Spain, joining CF Reus Deportiu in 2014 and spending two seasons in the Spanish third tier. In 2016, Almeida signed for AS Monaco, although his senior career continued through a loan spell at Os Belenenses, where he made his Primeira Liga debut. His subsequent path included Braga B and Greek club Xanthi FC before he joined Lokomotiv Plovdiv in 2019. Almeida helped Lokomotiv win the 2019–20 Bulgarian Cup and scored in the decisive shootout against CSKA Sofia. After transferring to Antwerp in 2021, he returned to Bulgaria with Ludogorets in January 2023, continuing a career across several European leagues.
