Diego López Noguerol
Diego López Noguerol is a Spanish left winger born in Turón on 13 May 2002. He developed in Asturias before continuing his academy education with Sporting de Gijón, Real Madrid, and Barcelona. At Valencia, he joined the reserve side in 2021, then progressed into the senior team. He made his La Liga debut against Atlético Madrid in August 2022. López scored the winning goal in Valencia’s 1–0 victory over Real Madrid in May 2023, a decisive moment during the club’s fight against relegation. He later represented Spain at the 2024 Paris Olympics, helping the team win gold after a 5–3 final victory over France. Comfortable attacking from wide areas, Diego López combines direct running with link play and has also been used as a forward.
