David Soria Solís

David Soria is a Spanish goalkeeper born in Madrid on 4 April 1993. He developed in Real Madrid's youth system before setbacks in England and Spain led him to train with CD Canillas while considering leaving football. In January 2013, Sevilla gave him an opportunity, and he progressed from the club's C team to its reserves and first team. During the 2015–16 season, David Soria became Sevilla's Europa League goalkeeper for the knockout stages, keeping a clean sheet against Molde and helping eliminate Athletic Bilbao on penalties. He then started the 2016 final in Basel, where Sevilla defeated Liverpool 3–1 to win the trophy. In July 2018, he joined Getafe seeking a regular starting role and established himself as a central figure in the team's defence. At Getafe, he played every minute of the 2019–20 La Liga campaign and recorded 11 clean sheets in 38 matches during the 2023–24 season.
