David Preu

David Preu is a German midfielder, born on 26 October 2004, who developed through FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin before joining 1. FC Union Berlin’s academy in 2019. At Union, he played across the youth setup and later moved into senior football through a 2024 loan to VfR Aalen. Preu made 34 appearances for Aalen and helped the club win the Württemberg Cup, gaining experience in the Regionalliga. He returned to Union and made his Bundesliga debut on 12 April 2025, appearing in the 0–0 draw with Bayer Leverkusen. His Union first-team involvement also included 119 Bundesliga minutes in 2024/25, while a pre-season match against Rangers brought his first senior goal for the club. Listed with Stuttgart II, Preu remains a developing midfielder whose career has combined Berlin academy training, senior football at Aalen and exposure to Germany’s top division.
