Daniel Elfadli

Daniel Elfadli is a Libyan midfielder who developed in Germany outside the country’s elite academy system. He progressed through TSG Leonberg, TSV Eltingen and SKV Rutesheim before making his senior debut in the Landesliga Württemberg. After that, Elfadli played for SSV Reutlingen and FC Nöttingen in the Oberliga, then moved to VfR Aalen in the Regionalliga in 2021. His performances there led to a move to 1. FC Magdeburg in 2022, marking his entry into the 2. Bundesliga. At Magdeburg, he established himself as a regular and made his first international appearances for Libya. Elfadli joined Hamburger SV in 2024 and helped HSV return to the Bundesliga during the 2024–25 season. Primarily a defensive midfielder, Daniel Elfadli can also operate as a centre-back, using short passing, interceptions and positional discipline to protect possession and cover space.
