Daniel de Sousa Britto
Daniel is a Brazilian goalkeeper born on 6 May 1994 in Barra do Garças, Mato Grosso. He began his development with União Rondonópolis before joining Internacional’s under-17 setup in 2011. Daniel progressed through Internacional’s youth sides and made his senior debut in May 2017, keeping a clean sheet in a 3–0 Série B victory over Londrina. He developed into a regular option for the Porto Alegre club and featured consistently in goal during the 2022 season. In January 2023, Daniel moved to Major League Soccer with the San Jose Earthquakes, making 23 starts and recording five clean sheets in his first season. His 1.88-metre frame supports his work as a shot-stopper, while his distribution and willingness to leave the line are also noted. Daniel is currently listed with FC Dallas.
