Daniel Vivian Moreno

Dani Vivian, whose full name is Daniel Vivian Moreno, is a Spanish centre-back born in Vitoria in 1999. He developed through San Viator, Deportivo Alavés, Lakua, Ariznabarra and Santutxu before joining Athletic Club’s Lezama academy in 2016. Vivian progressed through Basconia and Bilbao Athletic between 2016 and 2020, building his experience in Athletic’s system. In 2020, he moved on loan to Mirandés, where he made his professional debut and completed the season with 32 appearances and two goals. He returned to Athletic and made his La Liga debut against Elche on 16 August 2021. A proactive defender, Vivian is noted for stepping forward to intercept, competing strongly in the air and helping build play from the back. He helped Athletic win the 2023–24 Copa del Rey and was part of Spain’s Euro 2024-winning squad.
