Daniel Filipe Bandeira e Silva

Dani Silva, whose full name is Daniel Filipe Bandeira e Silva, is a Portuguese central midfielder born in Aljustrel on 11 April 2000. He developed through Monte Caparica, Benfica, Belenenses and Vitória de Setúbal before joining Vitória Guimarães in 2018. At Vitória Guimarães B, Silva became captain and continued his progression into senior football. He signed his first professional contract in April 2022 and made his Primeira Liga debut for Guimarães against Boavista the following month. Silva represented Portugal at under-19, under-20 and under-21 level, helping the under-19 side finish runner-up at the 2019 European Championship. In January 2024, he moved from Guimarães to Hellas Verona, beginning a new chapter in Serie A. He later joined FC Midtjylland and spent time on loan at Pafos, while his central-midfield profile allows him to contribute in both defensive and attacking phases.
