Daniel Ceballos Fernández

Dani Ceballos is a Spanish central midfielder born in Sevilla in 1996. He began in Sevilla's academy before returning to hometown club CD Utrera after his release in 2009, then joined Real Betis in 2011. Ceballos progressed quickly at Betis, signing a professional contract in 2014, debuting for the first team that April and helping the club return to La Liga the following season. His performances earned Spain Under-21 involvement and the Player of the Tournament award at the 2017 European Under-21 Championship, despite Spain's defeat in the final. Real Madrid signed him in 2017, and he later spent two seasons on loan at Arsenal from 2019 to 2021. At Arsenal, Dani Ceballos developed a more disciplined midfield role and played in the 2020 FA Cup final victory. Returning to Real Madrid, he has continued to contribute through passing, ball progression and defensive work.
