Daniel Cárdenas Lindez

Dani Cárdenas, whose full name is Daniel Cárdenas Lindez, is a Spanish goalkeeper born in Terrassa on 28 March 1997. He joined Levante's youth academy in January 2014, beginning the stage of his development that led to senior football. By 2016–17, Cárdenas had moved into Levante's reserve team in Segunda División B, where he established himself after initially serving as a third-choice goalkeeper. His progress brought a contract extension in March 2020, and on 27 November that year he made his La Liga debut for Levante against Real Valladolid, playing the full match in a 1–1 draw. Following Levante's relegation, he joined Rayo Vallecano on 18 August 2023. At Rayo, Dani Cárdenas has generally operated as a deputy, with opportunities including Copa del Rey appearances and cover for the starting goalkeeper. His profile is that of a ball-playing keeper, and in 2024–25 he completed 66 of 68 passes across 540 minutes.
