Dane Neil McCullough

Dane Neil McCullough is a Northern Irish defender who developed at Portadown before moving into English academy football. He joined Portadown at four and made his senior debut against Ballinamallard United in April 2019, aged 15 years and 121 days, becoming the club’s youngest senior player. In August 2020, he moved to Burnley, where he continued his development in the Premier League club’s Category One academy. During his time with Burnley, McCullough represented Northern Ireland at under-19 and under-21 level. He also spent a short period on loan at Hyde United before leaving Burnley in 2023. McCullough joined Linfield in October 2023 and developed from defensive cover into a regular contributor. Primarily a left-back, he can operate as a wing-back or on the left side of midfield, combining defensive work with forward runs and crossing.
