Darlin Zidane Yongwa Ngameni
Darlin Zidane Yongwa Ngameni is a Cameroonian midfielder born in Douala on 22 September 2000. He developed at Brasseries du Cameroun before joining French club Chamois Niortais in February 2019. Yongwa made his professional debut for Niort in July 2019, appearing in a Ligue 2 match against Auxerre. Across three seasons at Niort, he became a regular and made over 60 appearances. His progress earned him a move to FC Lorient in June 2022, taking him into Ligue 1. At Lorient, Yongwa has operated on the left side, combining defensive work with forward carries, crossing and overlapping runs. He has also been involved with Cameroon, including Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup qualifying campaigns, continuing a progression from academy football to the professional game in France.
