Dylan Billy Watts

Dylan Billy Watts is a Republic of Ireland midfielder from Dublin, born in 1997. He developed with St Joseph’s Boys and St Kevin’s Boys before beginning senior football at UCD in 2015. Watts featured in UCD’s Europa League campaign that year, facing F91 Dudelange and Slovan Bratislava. After 37 league appearances, he moved to Leicester City in September 2016, where he played for the Under-23 side and appeared in the EFL Trophy without making a senior appearance. He joined Bohemians on loan in early 2018, then signed permanently for Shamrock Rovers later that year. At Rovers, Watts developed from an energetic box-to-box midfielder into a deep-lying playmaker valued for passing, possession control and set-piece delivery. He has won five Premier Division titles and two FAI Cups with the club, and was named PFAI Player of the Year in 2024.
