Dimitar Valentinov Velkovski

Dimitar Valentinov Velkovski is a Bulgarian defender born in Vratsa on 22 January 1995. He developed with Botev Vratsa, spent a season with FC Vilafranca in Spain, and completed his youth education at Lokomotiv Sofia. Velkovski began his senior career at Lokomotiv Plovdiv, where he played from 2015 to 2018 before joining Slavia Sofia. His performances for Slavia earned him a move to Cercle Brugge in January 2020, beginning a period of football abroad. At Cercle, he operated primarily on the left side, and later continued his career with Miedź Legnica in Poland and Doxa Katokopias in Cyprus. Velkovski returned to Bulgaria with Arda Kardzhali in July 2024, adding experience from several European leagues to the squad. He remains associated with Arda as a left-sided defensive option, combining coverage of the flank with occasional attacking contributions.
