Dmytro Topalov
Dmytro Topalov is a Ukrainian forward who developed as a left-sided attacker. Born in Blyzhne on 12 March 1998, he joined the Shakhtar Donetsk academy at eight and progressed through its under-19 and under-21 teams. He made his senior Ukrainian Premier League debut for FC Mariupol on 30 July 2019, entering as a substitute against Kolos Kovalivka. Topalov spent the 2019–22 period with Mariupol, gaining regular first-team experience before returning to Shakhtar’s senior squad in 2022. He was included in Shakhtar’s European matchday squads, although his playing opportunities were limited. Further loan spells took him to Kolos Kovalivka and LNZ Cherkasy, with the latter move beginning in August 2024. In February 2026, Topalov joined Kazakhstan Premier League club Aktobe, adding an overseas chapter to a career built in Ukrainian football.
