Dominik Szoboszlai
Dominik Szoboszlai is a Hungarian central midfielder born in Budapest on 25 October 2000. He developed at Főnix Gold FC before moving into Austria’s Red Bull system through FC Liefering. Szoboszlai joined Red Bull Salzburg, where he progressed from the Austrian second tier into the first team and won four consecutive Austrian Bundesliga titles. He moved to RB Leipzig in 2021 and helped the club retain the DFB-Pokal in 2023, scoring in the final. In 2023, Liverpool signed him, and he became the first Hungarian to win the Premier League when Liverpool claimed the 2024–25 title. For Hungary, Szoboszlai scored the late winner against Iceland in November 2020 to send his country to Euro 2020. At Liverpool, he has combined forward passing and set-piece quality with pressing and defensive work across midfield.
