Daniel Svensson

Daniel Svensson is a Swedish midfielder born in Stockholm on 12 February 2002. He began playing with Irsta IF and Skiljebo SK before joining IF Brommapojkarna in 2014. Svensson made his professional debut for Brommapojkarna in a Swedish Cup match against GIF Sundsvall in 2020. Later that year, he moved to FC Nordsjælland in Denmark, where he initially played as a left-back. During the 2023–24 season, Nordsjælland also used Daniel Svensson in central midfield, broadening his responsibilities and highlighting his ability to contribute from different areas. Borussia Dortmund took him on loan in February 2025, and he subsequently joined the German club permanently. Svensson is also involved with Sweden internationally, while his versatility links defensive work with midfield distribution and forward progression.
