Daniele Sommariva
Daniele Sommariva is an Italian goalkeeper born in Genova on 18 July 1997. He began with Multedo Levante 1930 before joining Genoa’s youth system in 2008, developing through the academy and Primavera. After eight years with Genoa and senior bench experience, he moved into senior football with Nocerina in 2016. A season at Bustese followed, adding experience in Italy’s lower divisions. Sommariva joined Monza in 2018 and was mainly a reserve as the club rose from Serie C, while also featuring in its 2018–19 Coppa Italia Serie C campaign. In October 2020, he made his Serie B debut for Monza against Pisa and saved three penalties in a Coppa Italia shootout against Pordenone. After a spell at Pescara, Sommariva returned to Genoa in July 2023.
