Dylan Sloan

Dylan Sloan is a Northern Irish central midfielder who developed through Ridgeway Rovers, Linfield and Glentoran before joining Larne’s scholarship programme in 2020. In youth football, he captained Club NI Under-12s to the 2016 Westend Cup in Berlin, where they defeated Borussia Dortmund and Hertha Berlin. Sloan gained senior experience on loan at Knockbreda during 2021/22 and then at Newry City in 2022/23. Returning to Larne, he established himself in the club’s midfield and helped win the 2023/24 NIFL Premiership, a Charity Shield and three County Antrim Shields. His role has included central, advanced and deeper midfield duties, allowing him to support build-up play, progress possession and provide defensive cover. Sloan has also been involved with Northern Ireland Under-21s and featured in Larne’s UEFA Champions League qualifying campaign. On 10 January 2025, he signed a Larne contract extension running to May 2028.
