Danylo Sikan

Danylo Sikan is a Ukrainian forward born in Zhytomyr on 16 April 2001. He developed at Polissya Zhytomyr before joining the Karpaty Lviv academy, where he made his senior debut in 2018. Shakhtar Donetsk signed Sikan in early 2019, and he subsequently gained experience with FC Mariupol and, on loan, Germany’s Hansa Rostock in the 2. Bundesliga. At the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup, Sikan helped Ukraine win the title and scored four goals, earning the Silver Boot. He later returned to Shakhtar and scored the only goal in a 1–0 Champions League victory over Barcelona on 7 November 2023. Sikan has represented Ukraine at youth level and is listed with Ukraine U23. He is currently listed in Anderlecht’s squad, adding a new chapter to a career shaped by domestic, German and European competition.
