Daniel Rogers

Daniel Rogers is a goalkeeper born in New York who moved to Ireland at five and developed with Belvedere FC in Dublin. He joined Aberdeen and began building senior experience through loans, including spells with Dumbarton, Falkirk and St Mirren. At Falkirk, Rogers established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper between 2015 and 2017, before leaving Aberdeen in 2020. He subsequently played for Kilmarnock and Oldham Athletic, then returned to Dublin to sign for St Patrick’s Athletic in August 2022. Rogers marked his debut for St Patrick’s with a clean sheet in a 1–0 victory over Sligo Rovers. After suffering a dislocated compound fracture during a February 2023 warm-up, he returned to league action in March 2024 and kept a clean sheet against Dundalk. A Republic of Ireland youth international, Rogers is described as a ball-playing goalkeeper whose distribution and willingness to sweep behind the defence complement his shot-stopping.
