Dylan Patrick James Rees

Dylan Patrick James Rees is a Welsh defender from Haverfordwest, known commonly as D. Rees. He entered Cardiff City’s academy at 10, later receiving a two-year scholarship and earning a professional contract with the club after recovering from a serious knee injury. After leaving Cardiff City in January 2017, Rees had a spell with Aberystwyth Town before moving to Sweden with Karlstad BK. He returned to Wales in 2017 to join Cardiff MET, combining football with a first-class degree in Sport and Physical Education. With Cardiff MET, he won the Nathaniel MG Cup and scored in a UEFA Europa League qualifying victory over Progrès Niederkorn. Rees joined Haverfordwest County AFC in 2021 and has primarily played as a centre-back, while also covering right-back and midfield. He has captained Haverfordwest County AFC and continues to balance football with work as a PE teacher in Pembrokeshire.
