Diant Ramaj

Diant Ramaj is a German goalkeeper born in Stuttgart on 19 September 2001. He developed in the city’s football system, spending three years with Stuttgarter Kickers before joining 1. FC Heidenheim’s under-19 setup in 2018. Ramaj had been promoted to Heidenheim’s senior squad as a third-choice goalkeeper by 2019, continuing his progression toward professional football. In 2021, he signed his first professional contract with Eintracht Frankfurt and made his Bundesliga debut against Augsburg in January 2022. He was also part of Frankfurt’s squad that won the UEFA Europa League in 2022. The goalkeeper moved to Ajax in 2023, featuring in domestic and European competition. At 1.89 metres, Ramaj combines conventional goalkeeping with a willingness to participate in build-up play and distribute from deep. He has represented Germany at under-20 level.
