Diogo Miguel Zambujo Pimentel

Diogo Miguel Zambujo Pimentel is a Luxembourg international midfielder born in Portugal on 16 July 1997. He developed in Portugal with Ginásio Clube Figueirense and Despertar SC before moving to Luxembourg in 2011 and completing his youth development at FC Jeunesse Schieren. Pimentel entered Schieren’s senior side in 2015, then joined Etzella Ettelbruck in 2016. With Etzella, he helped win the 2018 Promotion d’Honneur championship and reached the 2019 Coupe de Luxembourg final. He moved to Fola Esch in 2020 and contributed to the club’s 2020/21 BGL Ligue title. A loan spell at Danish second-tier club Jammerbugt FC followed in 2022, before Pimentel joined UNA Strassen in 2023. He later appeared in UEFA Conference League qualifying and is now listed with Atert Bissen, while his Luxembourg debut came against Lithuania in September 2022.
