Daniel Oladele Akinbiyi Oyegoke

Daniel Oladele Akinbiyi Oyegoke is an English right-back who developed from a forward into a defender at Arsenal’s academy. After joining Arsenal in 2017, he progressed through the under-18s and under-23s before leaving in 2021 for Brentford. At Brentford, Oyegoke played for the B team and gained senior exposure around the first team. He then moved on loan to Milton Keynes Dons in 2022 and Bradford City in 2023, building experience in the English leagues. During this period, he represented England from under-16 to under-20 level and helped the under-19s win the 2022 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. Oyegoke joined Heart of Midlothian permanently in 2024 and scored his first professional goal against St Mirren in October. He moved to Hellas Verona in January 2025, where his right-flank work has also included a right-midfield role.
