Darian Males

Darian Males is a Swiss midfielder who plays primarily on the right. Born in Luzern on 3 May 2001, he developed at FC Luzern and made his professional debut for the club in September 2019. His early performances, including two goals and four assists in the 2019–20 season, attracted interest from abroad. In September 2020, Males joined Inter, then began a loan spell at Genoa before returning to Switzerland with FC Basel in February 2021. At Basel, he established himself in the first team and helped the club reach the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League semi-finals. Males moved permanently to BSC Young Boys in July 2023, continuing his career in the Swiss top flight. At Young Boys, Darian Males has been used as a right midfielder or attacking midfielder, bringing a left-footed passing option, inside movement and physical presence to the attack.
