David Ludwig Lelle

David Ludwig Lelle is a German centre-back who developed through several notable academy and reserve systems. He began at SV Hermersberg before joining 1. FC Kaiserslautern’s academy in 2011 and moving to RB Leipzig in 2017. At Leipzig, Lelle was part of the squad that won the DFB-Pokal in 2021/22, while also representing Germany at under-16 and under-19 level. He later gained senior experience with FC Schalke 04 II and Holstein Kiel II in the Regionalliga. In summer 2024, Lelle moved to Borussia Dortmund II, competing in the 3. Liga and receiving several first-team squad selections. He joined Aris in January 2026 on a contract running through May 2028, continuing his progression in Cyprus. At 1.89 metres, Lelle offers a strong aerial presence from central defence and brings experience shaped by Germany’s high-level development pathway.
