Djibril Lamego

Djibril Lamego is a French defender who developed through football in France before establishing himself in Belgium. He joined Amiens’ academy in March 2020 and moved into the club’s reserve setup in 2021. Later that year, Lamego left Amiens for US Chantilly, where he became a regular in defence and helped the club gain promotion from Championnat National 3 to National 2. On 28 June 2024, he signed for RAAL La Louvière, then competing in Belgium’s Challenger Pro League. Lamego played an important part as RAAL La Louvière finished second and earned promotion to the Belgian Pro League for 2025–26. A left-footed centre-back, he can also cover at left-back and is noted for reading passing lanes and making interceptions. He remains with RAAL La Louvière, continuing his progression in Belgian top-flight football.
