Dávid Krčík

Dávid Krčík is a Slovak defender who has developed from regional football into a Czech top-flight player. Born in Slovakia in 1999, he came through the youth system at Baník Prievidza before making his senior breakthrough there. In 2019, Krčík moved to Tatran Liptovský Mikuláš, where he spent three seasons. A 2022 loan to Vysočina Jihlava introduced him to Czech football, and his performances led to a permanent move to MFK Karviná in July that year. At Karviná, he established himself as a central defender and became a regular contributor in domestic competition and set-piece situations. Krčík joined FC Viktoria Plzeň in January 2026, continuing his progression in the Czech league. He has also been involved with Slovakia at senior level, making his debut against Romania in early 2026.
