Deandre Christopher Kerr

Deandre Christopher Kerr is a Canadian forward from Toronto, Ontario, who developed through youth soccer in Ajax. He joined Toronto FC’s academy in November 2018 after progressing through Ajax Azzurri SC, Pickering FC and Whitby SC, recording 14 goals and nine assists in the 2019–20 USSDA season. At Syracuse University, Kerr led the Orange with four goals in 2020, then produced nine goals and 21 points in 15 appearances in 2021, earning All-ACC First Team recognition and team MVP honors. Toronto FC signed Kerr as its 28th Homegrown Player in January 2022. In 2023, he finished as the club’s co-leading scorer with five goals. He scored four times in Toronto FC’s 8–1 Canadian Championship victory over CS Saint-Laurent in 2024. Kerr represented Canada at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup, starting all three matches, and can operate centrally or from the right.
